Flora

$888.00

As the story carries.
Woven through time and memory, this poncho is called Flora.

Flora was inspired by a set of vintage blankets once discovered and carefully held. These botanical blankets were hand woven by Silva’s grandmother, a master weaver from Boyacá, more than a hundred years ago. What lives on in this piece is not replication but remembrance. Thread by thread, an honoring of the plants she listened to and the language she spoke through fiber.

In this soft white and pink-red weave, sacred plants quietly emerge. The mycelium network reveals itself as a mushroom resting on the right shoulder, a reminder of the unseen intelligence that connects all life. La uva camarona appears twice along the lower edge, offering its gentle presence and cyclical rhythm. Cadillo is woven on the left side in the pot, grounding the piece with protection and persistence.

To wear Flora is to be wrapped in botanical stories and ancestral seeing. These are not decorations. They are living symbols, prayers made visible, wisdom carried forward through hands that knew how to listen. One does not simply wear this poncho. One enters a conversation that has been ongoing for generations.
